Maison Calista reflects a long-held vision: to create a beautiful, safe home where older adults and vulnerable people can flourish — not merely be cared for.
Our founder has been accompanying vulnerable people since 2008, guiding families through complex transitions and listening to what truly matters — dignity, connection, joy, and peace. That experience shaped every detail of this residence: its intimate scale of twelve rooms, the rhythm of daily life, the quality of support, and the importance of staying close to loved ones.

Since 2008, our founder has supported individuals facing vulnerability — whether due to age, health, or isolation — and the families who stand beside them. Through countless conversations, home visits, and difficult decisions, one truth became clear: people deserve more than adequate care. They deserve a life worth living.
That conviction led to Morocco. Regular journeys revealed a striking contrast with elderly life in France and Belgium: long grey winters, shrinking social circles, and institutions that feel clinical rather than welcoming. Here, light is abundant, human warmth is natural, and daily life can be rich with colour, culture, and outdoor beauty.
Maison Calista was conceived to bring that quality of life within reach — without asking families to compromise on safety, medical access, or connection.

Too often, ageing in northern Europe means reduced mobility, isolation, and a sense that life is narrowing. Maison Calista was created as a thoughtful alternative — a boutique residence where residents wake to sunshine, enjoy gardens and a heated pool, share meals prepared with care, and take part in activities that nourish body and spirit.
With more than 300 sunny days a year, outdoor living is not occasional — it is woven into the rhythm of each week. The medina, the Atlas foothills, and the desert are not distant dreams; they are part of the calendar.
